Tyger Clerk: Lady Khioniya Nikolaevna Ryseva

Khioniya has been a member of the SCA since 1992 and a scribe since 1998. She now lives in Carolingia, but also has spent much time in Caid and had a brief stay in the Outlands. Having seen and experienced the scribal process in other kingdoms, she remains impressed with both the quality and quantity of work produced by Eastern scribes. Contact Khioniya

Information Administrator: Maestra Dresden Pennello di Quadro Voce

A member of the Society since 1987, Dresden is a mid-15th century scribe residing in northern Italy with roots in the region's Celtic past. She has been creating scrolls for the East Kingdom since the spring of 1991. She is a founding member of the Shire of Glenn Linn (the lower Adirondack region of New York), where she was active in the offices of seneschal and chronicler at both the local and regional levels, but now resides in the Barony Beyond the Mountain with her husband, Sir Mathgamain O’Brien.

New Scribes Deputy: Mistress Eleanor Catlyng

Eleanor has been in the Society since AS XXVII (1992), based in Carolingia, where she has held office nearly from day one, first in the Borough of Southebanke (Boston University), then in the barony, where she is currently seneschal. She began doing scrolls her first year under the tutelage of Master Anton of Winter Oak, from whom she learned her best hand, Elizabethan Secretariat. While she prefers calligraphy, she also does illumination when she cannot pair up with other scribes. Although practicing many styles over the years, her favorite scroll has been an Eygyptian one, done on real papyrus.

Besides calligraphy and illumination, Jon enjoys heavy list fighting.

Schola Deputy: Lady Saerlaith ingen Cinneide

Lady Saerlaith joined the Society for Creative Anachronism in 1985 in the Barony of Rhydderich Hael. After moving around for several years, including living in Canada, she returned to the East Kingdom and currently resides in the Barony Beyond the Mountain. Over the years Saerlaith has been known by different names (Clodagh inghean Cinneide, being the last one). The one thing that has stayed the same during this time is her love for the scribal arts and being able to share it with others. Saerlaith has a passion for the Luttrell Psalter, a 14th-century English illuminated manuscript, famed for its pictures of every day life, as well as its numerous grotesques.
